We like to think that all of our wines have a certain personality. Some are about fruit, some are about balance and then there's this wine, the XY, for those who want it a little more over the top, a slap in the face if you will. The blend for this reserve bottling came about by choosing 4 of our very favorite Cabernet barrels, making just about 100 cases. The fruit, sourced from Sheridan and Champoux Vineyards, was aged 21 months in 75% new French Oak and 25% neutral French oak, created a big Cab that is intense, chock-full of character and muscular.
