 2007 STEVENSBLACKTONGUE
Once again, our Syrah gets its name from the tongue staining fruit from Dineen Vineyard in Zillah and Meek Vineyard located just west of Red Mountain. This is our 5th release and this dynamic duo unleashed a wine that has a lot of POW! It spent 18 months in French oak, 38% new with the balance in once used barrels. The result is a dense wine that will zap you with dark fruit up front and end with mineral and earthy notes. 385cases produced.
