 2009 STEVENSBLACKTONGUE
It is once again our pride and joy. Black as night and thick as oil (ok, maybe not oil, but thick), this wine will surely stain your tongue. The majority of the fruit came from the Catherine’s block at Dineen Vineyard located within the Yakima Valley’s west end. Extremely low yields and modest barrel intervention helped to form this wine’s pure expression with its ripe tannins and natural acidity. We aged it 20 months in French oak and produced 350 cases.
