 2010 STEVENS424
This is our 8th release of the 424 Red Wine. It's the Winery's signature wine, our largest production wine, and dearest to our hearts wine. The blend percentages change year to year. Dineen, DuBrul, Meek and Sheridan Vineyard are the players once again. This year's blend is: 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, 16% Merlot, 11% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot. It was aged for 20 months in 50% new and 50% once used French oak. If there's one word to describe the wine it would be- Balance. We strive to create a wine that has a wonderful front, supple middle and a long lasting back end. Wrap it all together and have the 424 wine. 460 cases produced.
